LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
As you know, the club runs mostly due to the efforts of our members volunteering their time to help with events, outings, and maintenance of the building and grounds, etc. Well, this winter we are looking for dedicated help with the shoveling of the steps and walkways and the sanding/salting of the same. What’s in it for me you say? Well it’s just the same for all of us who have either grown up playing on the ball field or swimming in the stream; the pride of keeping the facilities going and accessible to the future of the club - our kids and grand kids. If you want to help this winter, and we hope you will, please contact Tim at 207-582-5170 and we can discuss the details. We have a GREAT family at GSC, and if we can gather a dedicated group to help this winter, before you know it we’ll all be back enjoying the benefits of being “by the edge of the stream”, picnicking, swimming and tight lines.

Vehicle stickers for 2012 will be Blue, and must be displayed on any vehicle parked on club grounds, or, a membership card must be displayed in plain view.

On September 29th, 2011, club members Mike and Nancy Bates headed off across country for the winter; destination - Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, NV.
