Maine DIF&W Chandler Woodcock visits the club this night to speak about the past history of the DIF&W and the direction and vision he has for the department under his watch. | Welcome to The Gardiner Sportsmen's Club |
The Gardiner Sportsmen's Club has been in existence since 1946, and during that time has welcomed many a member and visitor alike.
Vibrant with a strong active membership group throughout its storied life the Sportsmen's Club has been host to community events such as boating regattas, fishing tournaments (home of "The Open on Cobbossee Stream"), hunter safety courses & hunters breakfasts; even Saturday night dances. The Club has also sponsored youth recreational activities, baseball, softball & football teams; bingo games, pool, horseshoe and cribbage tournaments, etc, a little something for everyone.
Members can enjoy the wonderful swimming and picnic area, access to beautiful Cobbossee Stream through the use of the facilities boat launch, horseshoes and other amenities.
